From Shanghai Tower, the city felt less like a skyline and more like a connected system: a river, buildings, movement, energy and people. After looking closely at machines and shops, this was a chance to step back and think about the places that support them.
A correction to my original caption: 632 metres is the height of Shanghai Tower, not an established height for my camera. Shanghai's official visitor information places the 118th-floor observatory at 546 metres. My exact filming position has not been independently confirmed.
The connection to physical AI is an editorial question, not a claim about a control system visible in the skyline. What infrastructure, skills and support does a city need for intelligent machines to work usefully within it?
