LINGANG — Where Shanghai Scales Physical AI 🤖🏭🇨🇳 If Zhangjiang shows how an AI ecosystem forms, Lingang shows what happens when the goal becomes industrialization. On Shanghai’s southeastern edge around Dishui Lake, Lin-gang combines industrial land, manufacturing capacity, logistics, policy support, AI infrastructure and real-world application scenarios. Physical AI does not scale through better robots alone. It needs factories, components, compute, supply chains, testing environments, customers — and places willing to deploy new systems in the real world. The Dishui Lake AI Innovation Hub, launched in 2022, brought together projects spanning robotics, autonomous driving, intelligent chips, algorithms and digital twins. At launch, 40+ AI projects were announced with more than RMB 30B in planned investment. Another signal: AgiBot announced plans for commercial humanoid mass production in Lingang Fengxian Industrial Park, linking R&D with manufacturing and applications in automotive, electronics and logistics.
